Pokkitbuddies is a series of characters created by Phonethics. Each character has a unique mind, personality and interest.
To introduce you to them we have:
a) Bai Malai: An angel in every house, with a well packed blouse. A desire…for hire! This bai (house maid) is your typical bai and much more. She goes from house to house carrying with her the ‘ins and outs’ of every domestic scenario. She is our gossip section and fly on the wall rolled up in one and fill you in on the missed kitty party and the new found rivalries better than any tabloid!
b) Bhakt Harvakt: This guy emerges from the streets of India. He represents every other Joe walking the streets and by-lanes of India singing his bhajans and aartis round the year. What ever the occasion, whoever the God, whatever the religion this true devotee has a song for you. Try some of them out…
c) Ms. Madhuri: This is Drag Queen is shares your every joy and greets you on birthdays, new wedding or the arrival of a new born. A huge Bollywood fan she fantasizes about sharing the limelight with the stars who have her awestruck. This musical person is an entertaining delight and a treat to watch as she wades through the Page 3 to have her fill.
d) Indyeah Singh: Our famous sarderji (Sikh) is a riot on a mission. The man is fun filled box of info on India and how great it and its people. This guy will tell you things you know but don’t realize are the gems that make India such a force to reckon. His humor is goofy and manages to bring on a smile on anyone.
